Solo Shadow
Known for being makeup you can live in, Merit Beauty’s Solo Shadow is a buildable cream-to-powder eyeshadow that glides on beautifully. It comes in eight gorgeous modern colors including my personal favorite, a cool neutral taupe called Studio. Solo Shadow is buildable, bendable and lasts all day, and Studio quite literally goes with everything!
Brush No. 2
I also tried the brush Merit Beauty designed just for the purpose of applying Solo Shadow. Brush No. 2 is made with extra-soft vegan bristles to gently blend the product into the skin for a soft, diffused finish.
Flush Balm
Another product that I tried from Merit Beauty is called Flush Balm, and ladies, you’re going to love this! Flush Balm is a cream tint blush that blends beautifully into your skin. I used just a little and it gave me a lovely sun-kissed glow.
The Minimalist
The biggest surprise in my makeup order was a silky-smooth product called The Minimalist. Not a foundation and not a concealer, this product provides light-to-medium coverage, was soft, luxurious and very natural looking. I used The Minimalist as a light concealer and I’ll definitely be going back for seconds when the tube I have runs out.
Clean Lash
Finally, I tried Merit Beauty’s Clean Lash lengthening mascara. This mascara is perfect for a natural look. It lengthens and defines without clumping but also looks natural and fills out my lashes. I was actually able to use Clean Lash on my bottom lashes with no clumps! Clean Lash is a tubing formula that is buildable and very easy to remove.
If you love makeup products like I do, I highly recommend giving Merit Beauty a try! I’ll be keeping an eye on the brand as new products are released and I am confident you will, too!
